Special Events/Corporate Functions/Weddings
Dear Talent Buyers, thank you for considering The Big Easy Groovers (B.E.G.) for your upcoming local, national, or international event. Our goal is to provide that fun-filled professional music you’re looking for. We welcome the opportunity to discuss specific details of your upcoming special event, corporate function, or wedding reception. Whether you’re interested in a small trio or quartet group to serve as a backdrop to a full nine-piece dance/jazz group, The Big Easy Groovers are able to accommodate your vision of making your event a huge success. Below are guidelines that we follow to ensure your function to be successful.
Prices
> Quotes are stated to the talent buyer after it’s determined what will be expected of the band for the particular event.
> A contract is required 60-days prior to the event outlining location, start/end time, and any other pertinent details relating to the band along with a 50% deposit that will guarantee BEG presence for the event. NO EVENT IS GUARANTEED UNLESS THE REQUIRED 50% DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED THIRTY(30) DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
> All payments (deposits/balances) should be made out to Roderick O. Paulin and the memo section of the check should state: Big Easy Groovers, LLC.
> Remaining balances are required to be distributed on the day of the event thirty(30) minutes prior to the start of the function to Renee’ A. Dalton or Roderick Paulin ONLY!!!!!
Other BEG Band requirements
We require a dressing room (Green Room) to refresh ourselves during our break period(s) along with food and non-alcoholic drinks to be set-up in the room. There is room for adjustments depending on where the venue is being held.
Still pictures taken by photographers are allowed. Audio/Video Recording of B.E.G. without written/verbal consent is strictly prohibited
If our services are required to exceed the originally contracted start/end time, an additional fee will be negotiated between the talent buyer and Roderick Paulin immediately following the request.
WEDDINGS
We perform jazz, funk, blues, Big Band, New Orleans Second line/Brass Band, Old School R&B music that will satisfy your guests.

If there is a special song(s) you would like to have sung or played, we ask that you provide us with the artist and song title at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding reception.
We will email the bride and groom a list of songs that we perform at weddings and wedding receptions upon request.
The band attire is tuxedos or dark suits.
Full payment for the function is required one(1) hour prior to the start of the reception.
